OVERVIEW
As the Lead UX Researcher for Autodesk’s Media & Entertainment (M&E) division, I spearheaded research initiatives to shape the vision and MVP of the Flow Cloud platform. This platform, targeting an $8B Total Addressable Market (TAM), was designed to streamline workflows and foster collaboration across the film, gaming, and VFX industries.
ROLE
I Led a 3-member research team, collaborating closely with senior leadership to align the product’s vision with industry needs and business goals.
PROCESS
Collaborated with stakeholders to define the scope of the research and align on key objectives, ensuring the study addressed both user needs and business goals.
Utilized a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including ethnographic studies, user interviews, and journey mapping, to gather actionable insights.
Synthesized findings into comprehensive personas and workflows to inform platform design and strategy, driving cross-functional alignment.
LEARNING
Discovered critical pain points in existing workflows that hindered collaboration and efficiency across VFX teams.
